Handheld transmitters for garage doors and outside doors

You can get our digital, wireless handheld transmitters with a choice of 4 or 2 buttons for correspondingly different functions; for example, you can control several doors/gates with just one wireless handheld transmitter, even if the door/gate is equipped with a drive made by another manufacturer, or switch on the drive lighting in addition. It fits easily into a bag or trouser pocket, also onto the sun visor in the car.

Overview of our wireless systems

Universal receiver

You use our universal receiver to convert to all Marantec drive systems and other makes. With the universal receiver, even older drives can receive and process our radio signals, meaning that you can control all devices with the same handheld transmitter.

What do you have to bear in mind when buying a new handheld transmitter?

Your new handheld transmitter must have the same radio system (Multi-Bit, bi-linked or DM7S) and the same transmitting frequency that your drive and your current handheld transmitter use. Details of the radio frequency can be found on the back of your handheld transmitter or on your drive's antenna.

Marantec uses the following radio frequencies:

  • 868 MHz
  • 433 MHz
  • 40 MHz (no longer available – please get in touch with your specialist dealer or our customer service department if your drive uses this frequency)
  • 27 MHz (no longer available – please get in touch with your specialist dealer or our customer service department if your drive uses this frequency)

Additional radio frequencies are possible in other countries. You can find out more about our radio systems here.
