Marantec wins the innovation prize 2009 for
energy efficiency at the international trade fair R+T.
Focussing on the new developements with a market potential the representatives of the branch were awarded with a total of 11 innovation prizes.
Marantec was awarded for its patent pending blueline technology, which reduces the stand-by consumption of the operator system to a minimum.
On the first exhibition day at the R + T 2009, which took place from 10 to 14 February at the new exhibition area of the Messe Stuttgart, a lot of awards were conferred. Gerhard Hausladen, Professor of Building Climatic Design and Building Engineering Services at Munich Technical University, presented the renowned innovation prize.
The jury of 11 members comprising industry experts under the chairmanship of Professor Hausladen rewarded a colourful mixture of small and medium-sized companies, global players and young craftsmen this year. The focal points were innovation quality, everyday usefulness and market opportunities of the new developments.
The innovation prize has already been awarded for the seventh time and long established internationally. The promotionally effective title certifies the products a high market potential and thus provides for the expansion of sales opportunities.
Marantec blueline-technology. Marantec operator systems with the new innovative blueline technology are currently the most energy efficient as they only need a minimum of energy, only 0.3 watt for ensuring the operation mode. This is more than 90 % of energy savings compared to the current operator systems. At the same time they guarantee permanent availability of all safety and comfort functions.
